Far up South Africa’s tropical East Coast, and near to the warm hearted and diverse city of Durban in KwaZulu Natal you will find lying, in the lush hills of the mist belt in Kloof, one of South Africa’s premiere golfing and country clubs that seamlessly combines the very best of conference, dining, Wedding and recreational facilities.

The challenging course has been constructed to U.S.G.A standards and each of the eighteen has its own special character.

The course has been built atop a hilly plateau and the panoramic views of the surrounding areas, including the Indian Ocean, are sublime. Birds of all varieties nest in the tall trees that line the lush fairways, and the greens of Penncross Bent are perfectly suited the climate. The course has been well equipped with Natural dams and pans which makes a beautiful backdrop for photographs. The Course has multiple wedding ceremony cites and also is home to a Cricket Field which is perfect for large marquee weddings.

Visitors are warmly welcomed every day and the club is open all year barring Christmas, Good Friday and New Year’s Day.

Facilities are extensive and include a bar, fine dining experiences, décor assistance and much more.

Kloof Country Club boasts a number of different venues to host your ceremony or reception.
A Kloof Country Club Ceremony is a special event set amongst the beautiful backdrop of our well maintained lawns and Golf Course, there are several designated areas for you to host your ceremony which comes with Chairs, Red Carpet scattered with petals, Draped Arch. Shall the special day uphold undesirable weather, the ceremony will be set up in one of our function rooms.

The main Reception would be held in either of these beautiful rooms:

Mowat Room
*Maximum Capacity of 200 guests (without a dance floor) or 170 guests (with a dance floor)
*Opens up onto our enclosed veranda which is perfect for welcome drinks for your guests or if your numbers are large, can also be used as an over-flow facility.

Holdsworth Room
*Maximum Capacity of 90 guests (without a dance floor) or 70 guests (with a dance floor).
*Private Bar
*Private Balcony (perfect for a wedding ceremony)

Marquee Weddings
We have vast lawn facilities for Marquee weddings – prices available on request.
We also have available our Pool Area which can be hired for Private Functions and our Veranda Restaurant which – both are quoted on request and subject to availability.
