In the tranquility of the Zwartkops Mountains, on the banks of the Blaauwbank and Crocodile Rivers, lies Glenburn Lodge. Situated within the newly declared World Heritage Site , the “Cradle of Humankind”, this hotel, conference, wedding venue and spa is a mere 30 minutes from both Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Accommodation
Accommodation includes a total of 100 bedrooms made up of two and three bedroom chalets, Garden Suites, 48 hotel twin rooms including two family rooms and two paraplegic rooms, as well as twenty one luxury suites overlooking indigenous bush and tranquil water features.

Leisure activities
A host of exciting recreational facilities include hot air ballooning, horse trails, walking trails, adventure golf course, river trout fishing, floodlit tennis, beach volleyball, a rock pool complete with grotto, pool bar and Jacuzzi, gymnasium and pool room.

Chicama Country Spa
The award-winning Chicama Country Spa at Glenburn Lodge, in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, is located in tranquil, scenic and calming surroundings with spectacular views from every angle. Our “Vineyard” theme and décor is complemented with the use of Theravine products. The five star Spa facilities include a total of ten treatment rooms of which two have private hydrotherapy baths, three have private gardens and the couples’ treatment room boasts with a romantic, private Jacuzzi. Glencove
Celebrate your wedding in style at this beautiful riverside setting. With its open-sided gazebo-style chapel, lovely landscaped gardens and thatched reception area, Glencove, seats from 80 - 110 guests.

Glenkyle
Glenkyle, on the banks of the Blaauwbank River, is our largest wedding venue and accommodates up to 250 guests. With views over a waterfall and landscaped gardens and water features, it is a favourite with wedding photographers. Glenkyle features an open-sided, thatched Chapel seating up to 250 guests

Glenwillow
If an African-inspired bush wedding has always been your dream, look no further than Bush Willow Tented Camp. With 107 hectares of mountain, river and indigenous vegetation around, one could hardly imagine being 40 minutes way from both Johannesburg and Pretoria. Glenwillow function venue within the Bush Willow Tented Camp is ideally situated on the Blaauwbank River, and accommodates between twenty and sixty guests for weddings. A thatch gazebo overlooking the mountain can be utilized for wedding ceremonies or romantic dinners. 

Accommodation comprises ten large comfortable walk-in tents, sleeping between two and six people each. The tented accommodation includes a hot indoor shower, toilet and a small kitchenette

With full uptake of Bush Willow Tented Camp it is our pleasure to provide you with a ‘honeymoon suite’ for the night as well as accommodation in the tented camp for your wedding guests. This will ensure that your friends and family can enjoy the wedding without having to drive home late at night.
