Chapel:
The chapel is a stone chapel with a glass window with views of the mountains.
Absolutely stunning and with a lot of history.
Reception Venue:
We used the smaller Mafifiyela room which is upstairs. They draped it beautifully and it has a balcony with views of the mountains and a lovely fireplace for winter.
Service from management and co-ordinators:
Brilliant service, always on call for anything.
Service from waiters/waitresses:
Excellent service, food was served timeously and with a smile.
Photographic opportunities:
Gardens, mountains, rivers. Plenty to choose from.
Food:
The food was great, tasty and presented well.
Bridal Suite:
Just used a standard room to get ready in. Nothing great about it but it did the job.
Honeymoon Suite:
Stayed in a standard room and not the honeymoon suite, the accommodation at Didima where most my guests stayed was much better and cheaper.
Accommodation:
Once again the accommodation at Didima was cheaper and nicer so most my guests stayed there, a few of my guests were only coming on the Saturday morning and Cathedral Peak Hotel wouldn't cater for them unless they paid for 2 nights.
Added extras:
Draping, fairy lights, chair covers, table cloths etc was all included in the price.
Overall:
Stunning venue. Would recommend them to anyone.
