ABOUT US

Thaba Tshwene Game Lodge is situated approximately 28km from Klerksdorp in the North West Province. It is a small game lodge about 300 hectare and a running business from 2006 when the lodge hosted their first two weddings, conference and Senwes Function while still busy building and finishing the bespoke Thaba Tshwene picture. It was officially opened on the 11th of January 2007 with only rooms 1 – 11, the banqueting hall and kitchen completed.
Thaba Tshwene was built in different phases as the time went by and today it boasts 22 stylishly decorated luxurious bedrooms and 6 executive honeymoon suites which can accommodate 53 guests.

We operate specifically in the hospitality service area where we strive to deliver excellent service to our clients.

Thaba Tshwene Game Lodge is a sole partnership with a level 4 BEE.

ACCOMMODATION
Thaba Tshwene offers exquisite accommodation for up to 53 guests, consisting of 22 stylishly decorated luxurious bedrooms and 6 executive honeymoon suites.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and is fully serviced daily. Our exciting additions of honeymoon suites are exclusively aesthetic, spacious, well laid out with superb quality flooring, furniture and materials to appeal to different senses of style and tastes. Spa Baths/Jacuzzis in most of the suites, in or outside. Showers in room, in and outside. Spacious stoeps with private entrances. Free standing suites in the veld with patio and gum pole pergolas for parking.

CHAPEL
Our chapel is fit for a King and a Queen. It is a real attention grabber. Be uplifted in unforgettable moments when walking down the aisle to tie the knot with your twin partner and soul mate for this life.

DECK
Our privileged guests have the opportunity to relax with a sun downer and sample the deck’s sweeping panorama, overlooking a waterhole.

Sunset functions can also be hosted on this priceless half enclosed venue.

It can undoubtedly be said to be the secret weapon of Thaba Tshwene Game Lodge.

POOL DECK
In our Pool Deck Breakfast room, we have embraced a policy of “minimal intervention” to the surroundings of this secluded jewel.

Be welcome to enjoy your breakfast on the small deck outside.

It can also host a small all-in-one-wedding function.

AMPHITHEATRE

Our Amphitheatre will entice you to be entertained by nature’s gifts that are always full of energy, playful winds, embracing sunshine and sounds of the veld out of mother earth’s womb, together with a glorious view.

RESTAURANT
Thaba Tshwene’s restaurant has a certain finesse. We are committed to ensuring that your dining experience will be a pleasurable and memorable occasion. We have now expanded our restaurant ensuring that we can most definitely host bigger celebrations and accommodate +-60 people in our restaurant area.

CIGAR LOUNGE
Our fully licenced cigar lounge with a screeded cement floor, deep and comfortable leather couches, flat screen television and inviting fire place, makes it a cosy and relaxed environment during cold winter evenings.

We stock the finest cigars and cognacs for you to enjoy in that laid back feel with friends and colleagues.
You are welcome to strum the guitar and run your fingers over the piano keys to make your stay even more memorable.

BARALONG KRAAL
The pleasure to have a four star view from the Baralong Kraal is just another ad-on at Thabe Tshwene. Rejoice in the silence and the warmth of a bonfire during cold winter months.

BOMA

We will gladly assist you when you mould the venue to fit your wedding style. Sleep free of charge in one of our six honeymoon suites on your wedding night and enjoy a complementary bottle of champagne.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES
Own a collection of conferencing choices at Thaba Tshwene near Klerksdorp, 5km out of Hartebeesfontein. Fresh air, unspoilt nature and the wide open outdoors offer business people the rare opportunity to unwind while attending a conference within reach of their offices.

Our largest thatched conference hall flows onto the rustic covered deck with excellent vistas and can accommodate up to 150 delegates.

A smaller well-appointed carpeted conference room turns conferencing into comfort-hours at Thaba Tshwene. It can host up to 40 delegates.

The outdoor conference facility can accommodate up to 10 people and is a Semi- open Sala for intimate conferencing. Every venue is fully equipped and is designed to suite your specific business needs. A generator is always on standby in case of power failure.

GAME DRIVES AND PHOTO SHOOTS
Our game drive vehicle can take you to focus points on the farm during wedding-photo-shoots.

Guests are welcome to book a drive at reception in advance.

COCKTAIL LOUNGE
Our cocktail lounge will be open on request to serve your guest for any wedding, conference or function.

Enjoy cocktails on the lounge deck overlooking the waterhole or move to the banqueting deck for an extra-ordinary view.
