Savannah Game and River Retreat, Wedding and Conference Venue, is situated in the Free State just outside of Parys, nestled in the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site. The Game Reserve borders 8km of the Vaal River and is home to 25 different mammal species including buffalo, giraffe, sable, zebra and kudu.

Both our chapel and reception areas are situated on the Vaal river for a truly unique and awe inspiring experience. This is a special place to celebrate your special day! Our venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. Instead of just having your family with you on your special day, why not spend the weekend with them catching up at the boma with a typical camp fire going or dancing the night away at our bush bar as the sun sets behind the African horizon! Our menu is created to tantalize your taste buds where you find yourself spoiled for choice and we pride ourselves as having the friendliest staff around who will help you make your wedding as special as you dreamed it would be.
