How he popped the question:
Jacques proposed to me in July 2008 at Mount Santuary park, by a waterfall his mom and brothers helped making my name and will you marry me out of polistirine, leaves and flowers floating in the pond, was the most happiest day of my life, could have never imagined such a romantic and prescious way of getting asked hand in marriage, we started planning straight away.
A couple of days later we found out that the cancer came back, the chemotherapy started, countless injections, trips to hospital and the medical bills just piled up, Jacques was strong and fought but the reality of us getting married was fading as all the costs of the medical bills kept on rising.

Our dear friends especially Jane, Lee, Lyle, Daneel, Jakes, Lindsay, David, Jen, Andrew, they all got together and wrote a letter to the Christmas wish, and Jane's letter was chosen.  Jeremy and 94.7 gave us the most awesome gift a blessing, a fairytale wedding and gave Jacques a gift to keep fighting. We are so blessed and thank all our friends, 94.7, Avianto and all the sponsors.  From that day on we stayed strong, positive and had so much to look forward to, as soon as Jacques was home we started planning the dates and from there on everything was arranged for us, and our dream wedding started.  Jacques is now in remission and doing well and we are both extremely happily married.

Now how we met :-) Jacques and I met on a bus in Sun City to Black Eyed Peas, we were introduced briefly, once we made eye contact was love at first sight, a thought went through my mind that I will marry this man. A couple of weeks later, bumped into each other in the parking lot at the gym, we enjoyed each other's company and went out a couple of times, Jacques says I made him work hard :) but was worth it. Our love grew stronger every day and thank God everyday that we crossed each others paths. Jacques is the most caring, loving person, he is my life and love him with all my heart and soul, he is my lover my best friend, and makes me the most happiest women in the whole world

Our wedding day was truly a dream come true, and a fairy tale wedding, We had amazing suppliers who did everything for us from make up, wedding dress, hair, decor, cake, food, music, Minister and Avianto what can I say, what an awesome venue and the people were fantastic, we even got introduced to the head waiter and waitron before we walked into the reception and they insisted in us having a toast with them. We could have not asked for a more beautiful venue and service, our coordinator Chantel was amazing. We are so blessed and 94.7, sponsors and our friends made it all happen for us, and we thank them with all our heart and soul

On the day: At first I thought I was going to be so nervous, but I was so excited to walk down the aisle to meet my husband that it was not much of nervousness but excitement and so much butterflies of love flowing it was unbelievable you can't explain it in words. Every detail to our wedding day turned out as planned and even more, we had close family and friends to enjoy our special day with us and the laughter the smiles just did not end, everything went by so fast and was just having so much fun did not want it to end.

Brides Tip:
The day goes by so quickly, you don't have time to stress on one thing, you can't rewind, enjoy every moment, cause each moment counts. Tips? from head to toe was perfectly done so no touch up at all was needed, my tips would be use all my suppliers they did such a fantastic job. My wedding shoes, were dancing shoes from a dance boutique, I never had to walk them in, and kept me going the whole night on the dancefloor.

Special Moments:
I said a speech at our wedding, In my heart I really wanted to thank everyone and to say something to my wonderful husband, but was so nervous to get up and speak infront of everyone, not one for speeches at all. I felt so good once I said my speech, I cried a couple of times writing it and reading, but when I got up there I just read it and it just came out. We also started celebrating as we entered the reception, everyone loved it and got up on the dance floor to celebrate with us.
